Greater Lawrence gave Central Catholic a battle in every game but ultimately fell to the Raiders in three games to suffer its first defeat of the season. Adam Morris led a balanced attack for Central with nine kills and three blocks while Ray Rivera had 12 kills for the Reggies (7-1).
"It was tight and for a second-year progra, it was a phenomenal performance for us," said Greater Lawrence coach Rob Mahoney.
