With 34 seconds left in regulation, Andover's Emma Gilmartin found the puck in front of the net and flipped it over talented Masconomet goalie Molly Elmore, a Sacred Heart commit, to lift the Warriors to a 2-1 win. At 10-0-1, the Warriors are already qualified for the state tournament.

Freshman Brooke Rogers of North Andover scored twice as Brooks girls hockey netted all three of its goals in the third period to complete a 3-2 comeback win over Rivers. North Andover's Caroline Kukas had 26 saves for Brooks (7-0-1).

The Adams Family

Senior Katie Adams and her freshman sister Lauren Adams each had two goals for Andover, which whipped Braintree, 7-3, in the South Boston Tourney. Sean D'Urso gave up one goal in two periods after posting four straight shutouts this season. Today (Thursday) at 7 p.m. the Golden Warriors will play the Boston Latin-Matignon winner for the title.

Great Wall of D'Urso

Andover's Sean D'Urso continuted her fabulous start to the season with a 22-save performance in a 3-0 win over Methuen-Tewksbury, recording her fourth straight shutout to start the year. Defensively, it was Emily Wagner and Sara Carleo, who also scored a goal, who got the job of shutting down Red Rangers' top goal-scorer Julia Masotta.
