No. 4 Andover girls tennis suffered its first loss of the season, falling to No. 5 Winchester 5-0 in the Division 1 Round of 8. The Golden Warriors finished the season 20-1.

Cole Gilbert won No. 1 singles (8-2), Charlie Marsh took No. 2 singles (8-1) and they teamed to win No. 1 doubles (8-2) as No. 5 Windham beat No. 4 Coe-Brown 5-4 in the Division 2 first round. Windham will travel to No. 1 Oyster River in the Semifinals on Monday.

Central Catholic got comeback wins from their top two singles players, Meg Washburn (1-6, 6-3, 6-4) and Meg Malolepszy (3-6, 6-3, 6-3) and the Raiders beat Chelmsford 3-2.

Methuen's three singles players — Marie-Maxime Metivier, Breena Lawrence and Sam Pfeil — combined to win 36 of 39 games as the 14th-ranked Rangers improved to 12-1 with a five-match sweep over Tewksbury.

After dropping a first-step tie-breaker at No. 3 singles against Dracut, Haverhill's Abbey Burrill won each of the next two tie-breakers by scores of 7-4 and 7-6 for one of the Hillies' two victories in a loss to the Middies. Meredith Amirian picked up the other victory in a three-set win at No. 2 singles.

Three rallies led to North Andover girls tennis beating Billerica 4-1. Callie Dias fought back to win No. 2 singles 3-6, 6-2, 6-3; Skyler Holland rallied to take No. 3 singles 3-6, 6-4, 10-1 and the No. 1 doubles team of Leah Tenenbaum and Jocelyn Jankowski earned a gritty 6-2, 1-6, 6-4 victory.

Ava Duffy and Sarah Petisce combined to take No. 2 doubles 6-4, 6-4 to clinch Methuen's 3-2 win over Central Catholic on Friday. Rangers Tanvi Patel and Liv Lawrence overcame a 0-4 start to win 7-5, 6-3 at top doubles. 

No. 1 singles player Jennie Wang (6-1, 4-6, 6-3) and No. 3 Mia Thomas (4-6, 6-2, 6-2) each had to battle for victories, and Andover stayed perfect with a 5-0 win over Shrewsbury.

Tika Roy scored her first win at top singles (6-2, 6-4) and No. 2 singles player Callie Dais won her first match of the season (6-4, 6-4) as North Andover beat Tewksbury 4-1.

Maddie Frank won first singles (8-1), Amelia Coyle took second singles (8-1) and they combined to win No. 1 doubles (8-3) as Pinkerton topped Salem 7-2.

Rachel Chen rallied to win No. 2 singles 1-6, 6-4, 10-7 and lead Andover to a 4-1 win over Westford Academy on Friday.

Ally Coyle, Ava Rastello and Kassie Smeltzer won in singles and doubles and Salem girls tennis opened with a 6-3 win over Merrimack.

No. 1 Andover won both doubles matches, but was swept in singles and fell to No. 2 Acton-Boxboro 3-2 in the Division 1 North title game on Friday. Both teams entered the match undefeated.
