Salem gymnast Sean Fallon stood out at the Coach's Invitational at Andover High, winning the floor with a score of 9.2 and finishing second in the all-around. No team scores were kept.

Chris Chu placed third in the vault, second in the pommel horse and third in the floor to pace Andover boys gymnastics in a loss to Attleboro.

The Salem boys gymnastics team (138.1) topped both Andover (137.65) and Lowell (128.6) in yesterday's tri-meet to improve to 3-0. Nick Miles once again swept every event, taking first in the vault (9.1), parallel bars (8.4), high bar (8.0), pommel horse (8.4), floor (8.4), rings (7.0) and all-around (49.3). Andover's Chris Chu also had a good day, finishing second in the vault (8.1) and all-around (37.6), and third in the high bar (36.8).

Chris Chu topped Andover's gymnast in five of six events, scoring 38.7 in the all-around, in the Warrior boys' 175.5-140.9 loss to Braintree.

The Salem boys gymnastics team beat Newton North 140-89 thanks to the heroics of Nick Miles. Miles swept the meet with first place finishes in the vault (9.1), parallel bars (8.2), high bar (6.1), pommel horse (8.1), floor (9.1), rings (7.8) and all-around (48.4).
