Georgetown's boys lacrosse team gave highly regarded North Reading all it could handle before the Hornets rallied for an 11-10 victory. Trailing 5-3 at halftime, North Reading (2-0) clawed back, fueled by the four goals and three assists by Cody Carbone. Cam Knight scored the game-winner with two minutes remaining.

Ben Warren led the Royals with five goals and two assists.

"Their zone defense was fantastic and threw us off," said North Reading coach Chuck Campobasso. "It took us a long time to figure it out and get a little better at it."
