Georgetown senior captain Chris Esposito notched his second straight game in which he had 100-plus yards rushing and 100-plus yards passing. He completed 9 of 20 passes for 179 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 19 carries for 100 yards and two rushing touchdowns.

Read More »PEABODY — Despite a career best game for Georgetown quarterback Chris Esposito, the Royals fell to a run-heavy Bishop Fenwick team 33-15.
Although a Georgetown quarterback last named Esposito putting up impressive numbers is not new to the Georgetown faithful, it was the first name that was different against Fenwick. After playing fullback for two seasons behind his older brother Joe, Chris Esposito made the conversion to qb look easy as he threw for 99 yards and a touchdown pass on 10-14 passing while the fullback inside him came alive as well, bulling over defenders for 128 yards rushing most of them comming between the tackles.
Read More »North Reading's Chris Cavanaugh scored a goal with 58 seconds left to give North Reading its first win this month over Georgetown. The goal was unassisted and was scored from 20 yards out on a great lofted kick. Georgetown had carried play until that point despite the tied game. Dave Vollor scored North Readings other goal and Georgetown's goal came from Matt Bitchell.
