Rob Palumbo scored two and Logan Moore chipped in one to lead Sanborn. Jeff DiManna had a good game on defense along with Josh DiBurro, and Mike Delano had a superb game on the offensive side.
Read More »Sanborn reached its highlight of the season by defeating the defending state champions and second place Hopkinton in a 1-0 overtime victory. Two minutes into overtime, Steve Palumbo assisted twin Rob in the only goal of the game, which led to Hopkinton's first loss on the year. Goalie Nick Fogarty reported his fifth shutout of the season. This win puts the Indians in fourth place in the Class M Division of the state with a record of 10-2-0.
