The Salem girls basketball team saw its season come to an end with a 69-64 overtime loss to Concord in the first round of the Division 1 tournament. The Blue Devils were led by 26 points from Jordyn Franzen and 16 from Olivia Murray.

Trailing by a point with five seconds left, Stella Hazelton caught a pass just beyond the arc and let it fly. As the crowd held its breath, Hazleton watched as the ball swished through the nylon as the final buzzer sounded to give Salem a dramatic 56-54 win over Manchester Central. Jordyn Franzen led the Blue Devils (15-5, 11-5 NH) with 21 points, and Hazleton added 9. The win was also No. 199 overall for coach Ricky Oliver between his days coaching at Nashua North and Salem.

The Salem girls basketball team trailed 41-29 at halftime, but came out of the break on fire to take down Goffstown, 70-59. Jordyn Franzen scored 24 points with five 3s, Carly Saif added 16 points and Sydney Emerson dropped a season-high 15 for the Blue Devils.

Jordyn Franzen poured in a season-high 26 points with five 3s to lead Salem to a 59-46 win over Winnacunnet on Monday. The star senior is just 31 points away from reaching 1,000 for her career.

Avah Ingalls continued her breakout sophomore season with a season-high 25-point performance with four 3s to lead Pinkerton to a 47-43 win over Salem. Jesse Ames chipped in with 10 points for the Astros, while Stella Hazelton (13 points, 4 3s) and Olivia Murray (12 points) led the Blue Devils

The fantastic start for Salem freshman Olivia Murray continued with a 23-point performance in a 52-35 win over Keene. Stalwart senior Jordyn Franzen chiped in 15 for the Blue Devils (2-1).

After scoring 10 points in her high school debut, Salem freshman Olivia Murray followed by dropping 16 with three 3s in a 44-32 win over Dover. Stella Hazelton chipped in with 9 points on three 3s, and Briana Boucher added 6.
