Pinkerton stays unbeaten

Pinkerton placed five of the top eight golfers and shot an impressive 4-over par 148 at Rochester CC to defeat Salem (155), Spaulding (160) and Goffstown (175). Mark Kissel (medalist 35), Dan Kish and Matt Newton (matching 37s) led the way for the unbeaten Astros (27-0). Ed Haroian was one stroke off Kissel's pace to lead the Blue Devils (24-3 with two losses to Pinkerton).

Fighting through "one of those days," as head golf coach Ben Adams termed it, Salem still had enough to sweep past Londonderry, Nashua South and Bishop Guertin. Ed Haroian and Ryan Butler shot identical 40s to boost the Blue Devils to 12-1. The Lancers (3-15) were paced by Taylor Simpson's 41.

Cohen fires under-par round

Salem's Jeff Cohen shot a 3-under par 33 to lead Salem to a win in a quad match against Winnacunnet, Trinity and Londonderry. Ed Haroian even-par 36 at Scottish Highlands in Salem. Londonderry's top scorer was Matt Tobin's 41.
