Trailing 3-0 in the first half, the Sanborn boys soccer team fought to make it a two-score game at the half, then scored three goals in the second to pull off the 4-3 comeback win. Evan Burke had two goals and an assist for the Indians (2-1-1).

Bri Center got the Sanborn offense going with two 3-pointers in the first quarter, and the Indians cruised to their third straight win to start the season, 58-31, over Hillsboro-Deering. Center finished with a team-high 14 points, Sophie Merry-Carreiro had 13 and freshman Ellen McGough chipped in 12.

HILLSBOROUGH — Chris Hanna and the rest of the Sanborn seniors ended their careers on a high note.

Hanna paced the offense with 153 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries, and the Indians shut out Hillsboro-Deering-Hopkinton 21-0 Saturday afternoon.

HILLSBORO — With its ground game stymied, Pelham went to the air Saturday to shut out Hillsboro-Deering 28-0.

The only score of the first three quarters came early in the second quarter when Chris Barsalou caught a a 29-yard pass from Ian Hoey.

HILLSBOROUGH — Windham (3-0) continued its dominant start to the season, traveling to Hillsboro-Deering on Saturday and demolishing the hosts, 52-0.

This one was over by halftime.

KINGSTON, N.H. — Sanborn scored 14 points in the third quarter to take command and then held on for a 31-21 victory over Hillsboro-Deering-Hopkinton to end their season, after winning three of its last five, with a 4-5 record.

WINDHAM — Windham burst out to a fast start and never looked back, finishing with 406 yards rushing in Friday's 58-7 win over Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton.

Windham led 23-0 after the first quarter and then 44-0 at halftime. It was 58-0 after the third quarter, and Hillsboro-Deering scored a touchdown late to avoid the shutout.

Sanborn rolled past Hillsboro-Deering 55-31 behind strong games from Tyler Austin (13 points), Logan Kalinowski (11 points) and Zach Shoopman (8 points). Coach Bob Ficker was thrilled that 11 different Indians scored.

Pelham's girls soccer team scored three times in the first half on its way to a 4-2 Division 3 first-round win over Hillsboro-Deering. Brooke Paradis had a goal and an assist for the Pythons (9-8), who host Somersworth Sunday at 2 p.m. in the quarterfinals.
