Bri Center got the Sanborn offense going with two 3-pointers in the first quarter, and the Indians cruised to their third straight win to start the season, 58-31, over Hillsboro-Deering. Center finished with a team-high 14 points, Sophie Merry-Carreiro had 13 and freshman Ellen McGough chipped in 12.

Hanna, Sanborn seniors finish strong

HILLSBOROUGH — Chris Hanna and the rest of the Sanborn seniors ended their careers on a high note.

Hanna paced the offense with 153 yards and two touchdowns on 23 carries, and the Indians shut out Hillsboro-Deering-Hopkinton 21-0 Saturday afternoon.

Windham runs wild in big win

WINDHAM — Windham burst out to a fast start and never looked back, finishing with 406 yards rushing in Friday's 58-7 win over Hillsboro-Deering/Hopkinton.

Windham led 23-0 after the first quarter and then 44-0 at halftime. It was 58-0 after the third quarter, and Hillsboro-Deering scored a touchdown late to avoid the shutout.
