Returning players: Jon Britton, Jr., Mid; Niles Batchelder, Sr., Mid; Stan Castro, Jr., Def.; Dan Congdon, Jr., GK, Trey Denton, Jr., Mid; Pat Ford, Sr., Def.; Ian McCracken, Jr., Mid.; Jesse McElvain, Sr., F; Shaun Tucker, Jr., Def.; Marcus Hanna, Sr., Mid/F; Ryan Hanna, Sr., Def; Joe Savasta, Jr., F; Devon Pierro, Sr., F.

Strengths: Many sophomores received playing time a year ago and the Generals should reap the benefits this fall. H-W came on strong the second half of last season and should have the incentive to try to qualify for the state tourney for the first time since 2004

Concerns: The goalkeeper candidates played at the JV level last season, so they have to push it up a notch to prove they belong at the higher level.

Coach's outlook: "I think we have a team that can contend (in the Cape Ann League small division) as long as the players put their hearts into it game after game."
