Hornets dominate Malden

A trio of freshman led the way for North Reading as it easily handled Malden 14-2. Cody Carbone (goal, two assists), Eric Balenti (three goals, assist), and Chris Schippelletti (two goals) combined for nine points for the Hornets as it notched it's first win of the season, improving to 1-1.

"We were really looking to develop our freshman early and get some production out of them and today's game showed that all of them are on the right track," said coach Chuck Campobasso.
