Dan Johanson pitched seven strong innings and went 5 for 6 at the plate to power Pentucket baseball in a 9-7 victory over Lynnfield. Johanson allowed three hits and struck out five to pick up his first win of the year.
"Dan Johanson won the game for us," coach Tom L'Italien said.
Actually, Bobby DiSorbo did the honors for the Sachems, stroking a two-run single in the 10th inning to give Pentucket the lead for good.
