Kevin Singer picked up his seventh win of the year as North Reading topped Lynnfield, 6-3. The senior staff ace helped his own cause at the plate, going 3 for 4 with two RBIs and a run scored.

Sophomore Ryan O'Connor (3-0) earned the win for Newburyport (7-3 overall, 4-2 CAL). O'Connor allowed three hits, two walks, and struck out five. Kyle LeBlanc was 3 for 4 with four RBIs, a run scored, and two stolen bases. D.J. Grabowski was 3 for 4 with two RBIs, two runs scored, and a stolen base.

Andrew Sinkiewicz had two homers and four RBI as Georgetown topped Lynnfield, 10-4. Josh Ingram was a perfect 3 for 3, and Ryan Browner picked up his third win of the season.

Despite giving up four unearned runs in the first inning after a frustrating week of dealing with rained out games, Georgetown battled back on the strength of Andrew Sinkewicz's (3 for 4, 2 home runs, 2 runs, 4 RBIs) big day at the plate and Ryan Browner's great performance on the hill (7 innings pitched, 0 earned runs, 6 strike outs, 3 walks, 2 hit by pitch). 

North Andover sophomore pitcher Mike Weisman came just one hit shy of a no-hitter, settling for a one-hitter as the Scarlet Knights took a 3-0 victory over Lynnfield. Weisman allowed just one hit over seven innings, striking out 10. Second baseman Connor Walsh led the offense with a sac fly in the first and an RBI single in the fifth inning.

Dan Johanson was the star for Pentucket going seven-and-a-third innings in relief allowing no runs to pick up the win, while having a big day at the plate going 5 for 6 while driving in an RBI and scoring two runs as the Sachems beat Lynnfield in 10 innings, 9-7.

Dan Johanson pitched seven strong innings and went 5 for 6 at the plate to power Pentucket baseball in a 9-7 victory over Lynnfield. Johanson allowed three hits and struck out five to pick up his first win of the year.

North Reading baseball's Bobby Rosano punched a base hit passed the shortstop to drive in the winning run in a 2-1 victory over Lynnfield in extra innings. A two-out single and subsequent steal by senior captain Darren Hartwell set up the game winning hit. The win was highlighted by a brilliant performance by Hornet pitcher Eric Diffily, who went eight innings and held Lynnfield to three hits.
