Down three runs with two outs to go in the bottom of the seventh, Amesbury rallied to score four runs and win the game with the crucial hit coming from Ali French on a two-run triple. French then scored the winning run on a wild pitch.
Amesbury coach Chris Perry said his Indians were fortunate to come out with the win after making five errors and giving up three unearned runs. Michelle Ring had two hits at the plate, while going the distance on the mound scattering eight hits and a walk to go with five strike outs. Marion Dulleau also had two hits for Triton, and chalked up the loss on the mound for the Vikes.
