Connor Walsh's sacrifice fly in the ninth inning scored Ryan Sifferlen with the game-winning run in North Andover's 1-0, extra inning win. Sifferlen started the winning rally with a walk, then stole second before advancing to third on a passed ball. Alce Jillson had the lone Knight's hit.
Not only did Sifferlen score the winning run, but he also made the play of the game with a diving over-the-shoulder catch in the fifth innings, saving two runs.
Aaron Brunette threw seven innings, scattering six hits and striking out seven. Brandon Walsh closed out the final 1 2/3 to earn the win.
Adam Newell pitched well (six strikeouts) for 8 1/3 but was the tough luck loser. Dan Johanson had three hits for the Sachems.
