LOWELL — Timberlane placed seven wrestlers in today's quarterfinals at the 76-team George Bossi Lowell Holiday Tournament and is in a dogfight for first place with defending champion Mount Anthony, followed closely by Chelmsford.

The Owls advanced wrestlers in consecutive weight classes from 120 (Barrett Kappler) to 145 (Dylan Musgrave) and added Justin Berube at 160 and Dylan Tremblay at 182.

Central was paced by quarterfinalists Mike Glynn (106), Tyler Glynn (132) and Joey Sanchez (145) while Salem boasted Matt Adams (113) and Tristen Cabinta (170).  Haverhill Jake Nicolosi will face Pinault in the 138-pound quarterfinals.
