ANDOVER — Post-grad quarterback Zach Geddes was a monster on Saturday, throwing for four touchdowns and rushing for a fifth to lead Phillips to a 42-14 victory over worcester Academy.

Geddes, from Belmont Hill, opened the game with a 72-yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage. From there, he hit Brendan Smith on TD passes of 16 and 13 yards and Junior Almeida on strikes of 31 abd 14 yards.

In total, Geddes was 10 of 17 passing for 171 yards with four scores, and also ran for 221 yards on 15 carries and another TD.

"He put on a show today," said Phillips coach Leon Modeste, whose team moved to 5-2.

Adam Cohen's 9-yard touchdown run in the third quarter was the only scoring play to not involve Geddes.

Defensively, North Reading's Bob O'Donnell had seven tackles and two sacks, and Cohen added nine tackles and two sacks. Geddes had an interception, and Almeida had five tackles and a forced fumble.

The rivalry gets renewed Saturday, when Phillips travels to Phillips Exeter for a 3:30 p.m. kickoff.
