Methuen High made life a lot more difficult for Lawrence, denying the Lancers a spot in the upcoming state tourney with a 78-67 win.
Lawrence now has one more shot to qualify, Tuesday night against North Andover.
Keegan Lannon led the Rangers with 22. David Dizazzo had 20. Marcos Germosen had 13 to pace Lawrence.
