Pentucket's Josh Wesolowski and North Reading/Lynnfield continued to rule the Cape Ann League/Northeast Conference meet.

For the third year in a row, Wesolowski rolled to the 132-pound title while North Reading/Lynnfield romped to the team title, collecting 186 1/2 points, which was far ahead of runner-up Danvers (121).

Wesolowski, who was a state runner-up lastyear, easily defeated North Reading's Jake Mullin-Bernstein in the finals and remained unbeaten on the year. He also joined Triton's Luke Boyle and Georgetown/Ipswich's Constantone Galanis as CAL Wrestler of the Year.

Pentucket had its best showing of the year, placing sixth overall. Noah Malhi joined Wesolowski in the winner's circle by winning the 182-pound title and Jacob Wengler placed second at 106.

North Reading/Lynnfield used its depth to cruise to the title, but it did crown two champions in 145-pounder Dominic Monzione and heavyweight Brandon Troisi. Troisi also won the award for most pins in least amount of time with three falls in 1:34.

In the bout of the day, Galanis defeated Boyle 4-0 in the 152-pound championship match.

In other CAL awards, Georgetown's Ryan Archambault was named Coach of the Year and Pentucket won the team sportsmanship award.
