Jeff Moore's two-run double highlighted Georgetown's four-run fourth inning as the Royals topped Ipswich, 4-1, i the first round of the Georgetown Spottford tourney. The Royals (9-10) meet Triton this afternoon (2:30 p.m.) in the championship game.
Moore had two of Georgetown's seven hits. Patrick Slack had an RBI single and Tom Pingree forced in a run with a bases-loaded walk.
Ryan Browner was outstanding in a complete-game effort as he allowed just two hits while striking out nine.
