Kaitlyn Arsenault and starter Nicole Gubellini combined on a one-hitter while Salem ran its season-opening winning streak to nine games.

Arsenault, who earned the win with three innings of hitless ball, and Gubellini, who struck out six of the eight batters she faced,  posted Salem's fifth straight shutout.

Sarah Frahm (3 for 4 with five RBI) and Gubellini (3-4, three RBI) paced  a lineup in which every spot in the order scored at least one run and drove in at least one.
