Ace Taylor Carbone brought her A game and Alvirne scored three runs in the first inning en route to a 5-1 win over Salem in the Division 1 title game. Alvirne (18-4) repeated as Divison 1 champion. It was Salem's first loss of the season.

Trailing 2-0 after two innings, unbeaten Salem — led by Nicole Gubellini and Amanda Baron — charged back for a 6-2 victory over Dover.

The unbeaten and No. 1-seed Salem softball team used all 18 players and rolled over Keene 16-0 in five innings. Steph Long led the 17-hit attack with three hits and three RBIs.

Salem's unbeaten softball team (17-0) sprayed 23 hits in a 9-0 romp over Nashua South. Hannah Latham and Steph Long both had three hits and two RBIs and Amanda Baron also had three hits.

Juniors Hannah Latham and Sam Cloutier continued to swing a hot bat, drilling three hits apiece, in Salem's 8-0 win over Dover. Latham had two RBIs and Cloutier scored twice for the unbeaten Blue Devils (14-0). Nicole Gubellini threw a two-hitter for the win and had two hits and an RBI.

Rachel Murphy's two-run double in the fifth broke open a tight one, awakening Salem in a 6-0 whitewash of Memorial. Kaitlyn Arsenault moved to 5-0 on the year, striking out six and allowing three hits in five innings of work.

Salem's unbeaten softball team (12-0) fell behind to defending state champion Alvirne but rallied for an impressive 6-3 victory. Nicole Gubellini went the distancem striking out seven, and had the key hit, a three-run couble in the four-run sixth inning. Steph Long was 2 for 3 and scored twice for the Blue Devils who had 10 hits off of Alvirne ace Taylor Carbone.
