Tom Palleschi notched his 1,000th career point during a 15-point effort as Phillips got past Thayer, 71-64. Brendan O'Connell hit a trio of 3-pointers on his way to a team-best 18 points. Ryan Hartung added 17 for the 7-10 Big Blue.
Palleschi, who also had 11 rebounds, is only the third Phillips player to record 1,000 points. Previous 1,000-point scorers for Phillips include Becky Dowling (1994), who scored 1,108, and Joe Lokitis (2006), who finished with 1,159.
