Kaitlyn McInnis tallied four points on two goals and two assists to help lead Phillips past New Hampton, 7-1. The Big Blue onslaught rarely let up as they racked up 47 shots throughout the game.

Forced to play with just 11 skaters due to injuries, Phillips wouldn't surrender. Katie Riley's goal with 3:12 left in the game gave the Big Blue a 2-1 win over archrival Phillips Exeter. Avery Stone tied the game early in the third for Andover.

The Big Blue didn't get many chances but made them count as Ann Doherty and Katie Riley netted goals.

 Londonderry High School graduate Katherine Donnelly, a freshman at Holy Cross, has been named the 2008 Patriot League Rookie of the Year for women's soccer as well as a first team league All-Star.

Mariana Walsh has been a wrecking ball this season, compiling a pair of hat tricks in Phillips Academy's first three games. Yesterday, Walsh (three goals, two assists) led the Big Blue to a 6-1 victory over Winchendon to help the team improve to 2-0-1. Alissa Fromkin racked up 22 saves and even assisted on Kaitlyn McInnis' third period goal. Phillips finished with an astounding 44 shots on net.

Phillips Academy and Rivers battled to a 0-0 tie in a game highlighted by excellent defense and goaltending.

"It was remarkable, she had a great game," said coach Martha Fenton of goaltender Alissa Fromkin. "She had eight saves in the five minute overtime alone. I thought we came out firing in the first and third periods, but both teams played real strong defensively, and both goalies played really well."
