Jags win in PKs

The Windham boys soccer team saw its opportunity in the sixth round of penalty kicks after Nashua South missed, and Preston Neal took it. The Jaguar goalie came out of the net and buried his chance to lead the Jaguars to a, technical, 1-0 win over Nashua South in the Division 1 quarterfinals (5-4 PKs). The Jaguars will now play top-seeded Bedford in the semifinals on Tuesday at Stellos Stadium (6:15 p.m.). The team's split their regular-season matchup, 1-1, which is Bedford's only dropped point this year.

Husson, Jags advance

Max Husson scored early in the second half, and that was enough to send Windham to a 1-0 victory over Goffstown in the Division 1 first round. 
 
Landon Neal played an all-around stellar game for the No. 4 Jaguars, who next host No. 5 Nashua South on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Nic Colvin scored his first goal of the season on a penalty kick and Aidan Peretz also scored as Windham won a big Division 1 battle with Timberlane, 2-0. Goalie Preston Neal had an outstanding game for the Jaguars (8-3-2), who now have the same record as the Owls.

Solid tie

The Bedford boys soccer team is the defending Division 1 state champion and returned plenty of talent this year. The Bulldogs came into Friday's game undefeated, but Windham showed how far its come in its second D1 season by earning a 1-1 tie. Owen Larouco put the Jags (4-0-2) ahead early in the second, but Bedford was able to net an equalizer.
