Windham's volleyball team gave unbeaten Bedford a battle in a 3-1 loss. It was the first set Bedford had dropped all year and all the sets were competitive. Sam Blandford had 30 assists and five aces for the Jaguars (14-2).

Killian wins it

 

Michael Killian ran an excellent 5K time of 15:58.5 to hold off Sanborn's Khalil brothers and lead Windham to the title at the Pelham Invitational.

Sophomore Tyson Khalil was second in 16:11.9 and junior Jared Khalil was third in 16:21.9. Sanborn finished second as a team with 79 points, 39 behind Windham.The Jaguars got a 4-5 finish from Logan Carter and Baxter Gower-Hall.

Windham can't make up deficit

 

MERRIMACK — Windham had its best offensive performance of the season but couldn't overcome a 27-7 halftime deficit and fell to Merrimack 48-27.

The Jaguars, led by quarterback Sam Dunham (22-85)  AJ Fox (7-58) rushed for 240 yards. Dunham also rushed for a touchdown and passed for two scores,one to Fox for 30 yards and another to Cole Peterson for four yards.

Windham's Furnari No. 6 qualifier

Oyster River won the team title ahead of No. 2 Windham (389-398) at the DIvision 2 state golf qualifier. The top 14 advance to Saturday's individual championships at Beaver Meadow. Windham qualifiers were: 6. Nick Furnari 76, 10.tie Aaron Osiek and Alex Ryan 79; and 14. Chrs Billone 84.

Faria clutch in thriller

Cassie Faria tallied 14 kills, including four in a row in the decisive fifth game, as Windham held off Londonderry 3-2, winning the final game 17-15. Zoe Leclerc added 11 service points and Eliza Raymond had 23 digs for the winners.

Londonderry passes by Windham

 

LONDONDERRY — As has been the case much of the season, Windham played tough at times, but could not sustain any momentum Saturday afternoon.

Leading just 7-6 after one quarter, the host unbeaten Lancers (6-0) scored 20 unanswered points in the second quarter on their way to  a 42-14 victory.

Windham rallies late, but falls to Keene

KEENE — Trailing by two scores in the fourth quarter, Windham rallied in dramatic fashion.

Jaguar Joe Hero recovered a fumble in the end zone for a touchdown. Then, kicker Adam Burke recovered his own onside kick, giving Windham the ball back with a chance to tie or take the lead.
