Whittier beat Greater Lawrence, 7-4, to clinch CAC Large title outright over Greater Lowell. Will Carpenter went 6.2 innings and Matt Michel put out the fire with the bases loaded, getting a game-ending groundout. Joey Santiago drove in three for the 16-2 Cats.

Kyle Eddy must have been tired after this one. The Whittier sophomore went 3 for 4 with three runs scored in a 5-4 win over Mystic Valley, mostly because he stole six bases!

Matt Michel came in the game with the bases loaded in a tie game in the sixth and got Whittier out of a jam and then got the win in a 4-3 win over Amesbury. Josh O'Brien had an RBI double in the seventh to account for the winning run for the Wildcats. Amesbury, now eliminated from postseason contention, was led by Logan Burrill (3 for 4) and Thomas Flanagan (2 for 3).

Kyle Eddy blasted a three-run homer and Josh O'Brien followed in the same inning with a solo homer to highlight Whittier's 8-1 win over Ipswich and make a winner of Austin DeCosta. The Wildcats improved to 12-2.

Will Carpenter pitched another gem, a 4-hitter with 11 strikeouts as Whittier blanked Northeast 4-0. Matt Michel had a two-run single for the Wildcats (10-1).

Will Carpenter hurled a three-hitter, striking out eight, and didn't allow an earned run as Whittier trippled Greater Lowell 3-1 in a battle of two of the top Commonwealth Conference teams.

Sophomore Aidan Shea went 2 for 4 with an RBI at the plate, and also caught Matt Michel's six-inning gem as Whittier took down Ipswich 9-1. The Wildcats led just 2-1 heading into the top of the seventh, but scored seven insurance runs in the inning after Ipswich pulled its starter.

Whittier beat Essex Tech, 7-1, on a complete-game 5-hitter by Will Carpenter. (3-0). He fanned eight and walked just one. John Schwartz clouted two triples and drove in three.

Josh O'Brien and Matt Michel each had RBI singles to fuel a three-run bottom of the sixth inning to lead Whittier to a 4-3 win over Shawsheen.
