Pelham 87, Sanborn 31

Pelham could do no wrong in its 87-31 defeat of Sanborn. Brian Finney created lots of Indian turnovers to jump-start the Python offense.

Freshman tops the game

Freshman Jackson Morton scored 10 of his team high 14 points in the third quarter, and his performance pushed Sanborn to the 50-45 victory over Portsmouth Christian Academy. Morton sunk six field goals with two from 3-point range.

Sanborn vs. Portsmouth Christian Academy (at Newmarket Holiday Classic)

Freshman Jackson Morton, in his first varsity start, poured in 12 points to help Pelham to a 51-44 win over Epping. It was the Indians first win of the year. They'll face Portsmorth Christian tonight (7 p.m.).
