Pelham's Ryan White scored with 4 1/2 minutes left in regulation to send the game into overtime, and the No. 9 Pythons pushed top-seeded Merrimack Valley to the limit before falling 3-2 in double overtime in the Division 2 quarterfinals.

After a long absence from the state tourney, Pelham made the most of its debut, whipping No. 8 St. Thomas, 3-1, in a mild upset. The No. 9 Pythons lost to the Saints late in the season, 2-0, but yesterday Ryan White, Alec Paradis and Raphael DeCampos scored and Brian Finney (8 saves) made it stand up.

Alec Paradis scored three goals as Pelham went on to win its soccer game by a score of 4-2 over Pembroke. Paradis now holds a school record for most goals in a season with 17, a record that has stood since 1992.

Pelham pulled its defense together in the second half and made a hard charge at Bedford, falling just short in a battle of top Division 2 teams, 4-3. Rafael DeCampos got momentum on the Pythons' side when he connected from 35 yards out. Midfielder Brandon Skinner and forward Alec Paradis put heavy pressure on Bedford's backs to shut its offense down.

Led by goalie Andrew Pesci's 13 saves, Windham's boys soccer team tied unbeaten Pelham 0-0. Windham improved to 2-3-3.

Brandon Skinner scored from 25-yards out with 15 minutes to play, snapping the game's final tie and leading Pelham to a 3-2 win over Milford.  Alex Paradis and Peter Soonthornprapuit also scored for the Pythons (6-0).
