Brandon Martinez and Dillon Ryan each homered to lead Whittier baseball to a 10-6 victory over Mystic Valley. Meanwhille, Nate Allen just missed hitting for the cycle as he had a single, double and triple. 

Freshman Andrew Wells got ample support from his offense to go the distance in his first start as Whittier knocked off Mystic Valley, 8-3. Brandon Martinez (two doubles, three RBIs), Dillon Ryan (two hits including a double off the top of the outfield fence, RBI) and Steve Surette (two RBIs) contributed the brunt of the Wildcats' 11-hit attack.

Elvin Rivera spun a complete-game gem for Greater Lawrence Tech, striking out 10 and walking three in a three-hitter as the Reggies knocked off Mystic Valley, 4-2. Greater Lawrence picked up two key runs in the fifth, with Angel Rivera clouting the decisive blow, an RBI triple.
