Maddie Noury and Emily Graham each hit a home run and four different players drove in two runs as Whittier downjed Mystic Valley 12-0. Graham and Kaylee Habib combined to allow one hit while striking out 14.

Methuen junior Freddy Coleman ran a 3-second personal best in the mile over the weekend at the Lou Tozzi MSTCA Invitational. He was clocked in 4:24.21 to place fourth.

Jeremiah Mejia wasn't going to let Greater Lawrence lose. The senior drained six 3s and finished with 27 points, as the Reggies hung on for a 66-63 win over a talented Mystic Valley team.

Grace Efosa (29 points) had another brilliant game and she was backed by Allie Talley (season-high 25 points). They were the big stars in Whittier's 73-54 win over Mystic Valley.

Freshman Lewis Garcia scored 28 points and senior Jeremiah Mejia pumped in 27 to power Greater Lawrence to an impressive 83-74 victory over Mystic Valley.

The Whittier girls basketball team had plenty to celebrate after Friday's 62-51 win over Mystic Valley. Providence recruit Grace Efosa scored 22 points to go over 1,000 for her career, and 23-year coach Kevin Bradley picked up win No. 350.

Luke MacFarland "had a couple huge saves down the stretch," according to coach Max Beauregard, and Whittier upset Mystic Valley, 3-2. The goals were by Nate Cartier, Jack Latauskas and Kevin Couturier. 

Sergio Aquino hit his first career home run and finished the day with three RBIs as Greater Lawrence rolled past Mystic Valley 7-0. Wander Languasco threw five shutout innings to earn the victory on the hill. The Reggies closed out the regular season 12-8 after going 5-15 last year.

Greater Lawrence track and field standout Pablo Mora did a bit of everthing in the Reggies' wins over PMA and Mystic Valley. Mora set a personal best of 40-1 in the triple jump for the win, and also took high jump (6-0) and the 110 hurdles (16.2).

Alyssa Michel and KJ Capmbell provided the power out the No. 3 and No. 4 spot in the order, going a combined 5 for 9 with eight RBIs to lead Whittier to a 12-0 win over Mystic Valley in six innings. Pitcher Nicole Verrette had 12 strikeouts to bring her career totals to 486.
