All and all it was a great season.  Tonight we played a gaat first half and tney came out in the third quarter and scored 10 goals from  the oustide.  hung our first banner in program (MVC 2 champ).

Ouellette scored 100th point of season

Andrew Ouellette scored his 100th point of the season yesterday to help lead Central Catholic to a 10-3 victory over Timberlane at Central Catholic. 

Ouellette scored four goals and added three assists to give him 66 goals and 35 assists on the season.

Raiders clinch first title

LOWELL — After admiring the championship banners of the other sports hanging in the school's gym, now Central Catholic's boys lacrosse team can add its own.

After downing Haverhill yesterday, 12-5, the Raiders clinched the Merrimack Valley Conference's Division 2 championship with a perfect 8-0 record. It is the team's first title in its six-year existence.

With just under two minutes left in the game, Andrew Ouellette took a pass and buried his fifth goal of the contest, the game-winner as Central Catholic edged Lowell 10-9. Ouellette added a pair of assists.

Auger breaks out

 

Tom Auger had four of his six goals in the third quarter and added an assist as Pinkerton's boys lacrosse team whipped Central Catholic 15-6. The Astros outscored Central 7-1 in the third quarter. "We got our transition game going and had a lot of fast breaks," said Pinkerton coach Brian O'Reilly.

Andrew Ouellette and Connor Murphy scored three goals apiece as Central Catholic held off Austin Prep, 6-5. Ouellette was the hero in more ways than one, scoring with just three seconds left after the Raiders had blown a 5-0 lead.
