Shannon Dube fired a perfect game and fanned 10 as Whittier blanked visiting PMA, 15-0, in five innings. Cassey Glode belted a homer over the fence in left and Tiffany Mannion plated five runs.

Whittier knocked out four home runs in its 16-1 win past Presentation of Mary.  Cassey Glode had two home runs to lead the long-ball attack.  April Richardson and Tiffany Mannion also homered for the 12=5 Wildcats.

Reggies at the bat

 

Greater Lawrence Tech had the hitting shoes on yesterday, pounding 27 safeties in a 20-10 thumping of Presentation of Mary Academy. Paola Gutierrez tore it up with a handful of hits and six RBIs. Shabelli Villa and Jassmelyn DeLeon added four hits apiece.

Reggies break ice

 

An 11-run first inning lifted Greater Lawrence's softball team to its first win of the season, 17-2 over Presentation of Mary. Transfer Jassmelyn DeLeon (3 for 4) continued to hit well, stroking a pair of doubles and scoring three runs and sophomore Heather Boutin was 3 for 5 and scored twice.
