Behind five goals for Alex Catalano, Pelham downed Salem 11-7. According to coach Jen Resmini, this is believed to be the first time the Division 2 Pythons have ever beaten Division 1 Salem, a regular opponent.

Two streaks end

Salem snapped a six-game losing streak, breaking Manchester Central's three-game winning skein in the process, winning 13-9 in overtime. Jess Curley, Tayllar Righini (three goals), Lauren Burnett and Jersey Burns (two goals) scored in the extra session and goalie Alexa Smith (16 saves) shut the door for the Blue Devils. "We've been trying to get good ball transition in midfield and it worked today," said Salem head coach Faith Wahlen.
