Mike Downing's goal inside of the last five minutes was the difference as Salem edged Londonderry 2-1 last night at the Icenter.

 "It was a tight game," said Londonderry head coach Peter Bedford. "It was really a back-and-forth game and no one really took control until late. It was a well played game by both teams."

South KO'd in OT

Squandering six open-net scoring opportunities almost cost Londonderry, but Scott Morrison's overtime goal off a turnover saved the day against winless Nashua South, 5-4.  Cody Marquis got the Lancers off to a quick start with a pair of goals and two assists.

Lighting the lamp

Scott Morrison continued his scintlating start to the season, scoring a pair of goals as Londonderry bested Shawsheen 4-2. Morrison has scored at least two goals in each of the last three games and has seven tallies for the season.

Seventh Heaven

Called on as the seventh shooter to take the ice for Londonderry in the shootout, Jeff Parker blasted the puck past the goalie home to give the Lancers a 6-5 victory over Concord. Scott Morrison set up those heroics, scoring the game-tying goal with 14 seconds left in regulation.

Scott Morrison had a hat trick, the final one a shorthanded effort, to power Londonderry past Lebanon, 6-1, in the Concord Christmas Tourney.
