Haverhill senior Jared Lewis had an unassisted goal and scored on a penalty kick to lift the Hillies past Billerica 2-0 in their last regular-season game. Haverhill (10-6-1) will now await Thursdays state tournament pairings.

North Andover boys post comeback win

Gareth Dudney and Evan Boudreau each scored in the second half to help North Andover erase a one-goal halftime deficit and win 2-1 over Billerica.
"We did control a lot of the play and we had better ball position," North Andover coach  The other team is used to the size of the field. The dimensions are smaller. But we possessed the ball far more efficiently and we put a lot of pressure on them in second."
Goalie Jack Hyman, who made seven saves, came out of the net to stop a breakaway in the second half. He got a hand on the shot and ball deflected over the net.

Billerica proved to be too powerful for Methuen to handle in a 5-0 victory. Despite the score, the Rangers got strong defensive efforts from seniors Fred Corey and Colin Trainor.

Burkhard worked hard

Junior Bryan Burkhard netted the game-winner in the first half and helped out on Cecchi McNaughton's insurance score as Andover defeated Billerica, 2-0. Outstanding hustle from junior Pat Leber and sophomore Eric Buck helped the Golden Warriors (3-2-1) deal the Indians (4-1-1) their first loss of the year.
