Wild win for Phillips

The Big Blue were able to push three runs across the plate in the bottom of the seventh inning to come back and win, 7-6, over Belmont Hill. With one out and the bases loaded, Jack Doyle missed hitting a game-winning grand slam by just a few feet, pulling the ball foul. He would go on to strike out, but a bad pickoff attempt by the catcher plated a pair of runs and tied the game, leaving Tom Palleschi as the winning run at second base. Sam Auffant proceeded to knock a double to drive in Palleschi for the game-winning RBI as Phillips improved to 3-0.
