North Andover pitchers walked 11 batters in the fourth and fifth innings alone, translating to nine runs for PMA which led to the Panthers' big 10-9 win. Chris Byron walked just three and struck out eight to earn the win.

Despite some strong defense from first baseman Stephanie Galinsky to keep things close, PMA dropped a 7-3 decision to Shawsheen. Freshman Ashley Ventolieri and sophomore Joelle Bechara and Jessica Goulet scored runs for the Panthers (3-13).

Freshman Taylor Miller struck out seven and gave up just two unearned runs to hold PMA hitless and improve to 4-1 in Whittier's 12-2 thrashing. Danielle Ryan, Kendra Hobbs, Emily Pomer and Tiffany Mannion all drove in two.

Presentation of Mary pitcher Chris Byron gave up a leadoff single, but that was the only hit she would allow all game as the Panthers (1-6) won their first game of the season, 10-3 over Notre Dame. Byron walked eight, but she struck out 14 in the win.
