Ambika Krishnamachr potted two goals to lead Phillips to a 3-1 win over BB&N in the New England Prep tournament. The Big Blue trailed 1-0 at the half, but Krishnamachar scored twice and Emily Little added an insurance goal. Phillips travels to top-ranked Nobles on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Amanda Brisco tallied a hat trick and Katherine Sherrill added some insurance as Phillips Andover (12-4)cruised past Phillips Exeter 4-0. Courtney Macdonald, Emily Little, and Kyra Wyckoff all had assists, while goalkeeper Alex Farrell made six saves for the shutout.

Emily Little scored four times to pace the Phillips girls soccer team to a 5-0 win over Deerfield. The senior co-captain has overcome two different injuries to return for the late-season stretch. She now has 11 goals on the season for the 9-3 Big Blue.

After scoring five goals in her first nine games of the season, Amanda Brisco tallied a whopping four goals in Phillips' 4-0 victory over St. Paul's. She has now scored nine of the 14 goals the Big Blue have scored this season. Goalie Alex Farrell added an assist on a long kick.

Phillips goalie Alex Farrell made a spectacular save with five minutes left to preserve at 1-0 win over previously unbeaten Governors Academy.

"It was a beautiful save," said coach Lisa Joel. "It saved the game."

Junior Anna Fang drove in a corner kick for the lone goal as Phillips edged Brooks 1-0. The loss marked the first of the season for Brooks as they lost in an extremely hard fought game.

Phillips Academy shut out defending New England Class B champ Rivers 2-0 in its season opener. Amanda Brisco and Emily Little both had a goal and an assist and Alex Farrell had 13 saves.
