Central Catholic volleyball battled from 2-0 down to force a fifth set, but ultimately fell to defending Division 1 North champion Chelmsford in the first round of this year's tournament, 3-2. Kevin Stevenson had 22 kills and Jack Roderick supplied 42 assists in the valiant effort.

You'd be hard pressed to find a volleyball team entering the state tournament as hot as Central Catholic is. Led by a 10-kill, 3-block effort from Kevin Stevenson in a 3-0 win over North Andover, the Raiders (18-2) enter postseason play on a 10-game winning streak.

Trailing, 2-1, Central Catholic volleyball won the final two sets to defeat Haverhill, 3-2. Kevin Stevenson led the Raiders with 19 kills and Alex Nadeau led all players with 34 digs. Haverhill's Fritz Kleiner and Connor Buscema tied for a game-high of 25 kills apiece.

Kevin Stevenson had both 10 kills and 10 service points as Central Catholic swept Chelmsford to improve to 13-2. 

Kevin Stevenson notched 13 kills, Jack Roderick supplied 28 assists and Alex Nadeau added 27 digs as Central Catholic boys volleyball topped Lawrence, 3-1.

After a nail-biter went down to a decisive fifth set, the Central Catholic boys volleyball team downed Methuen and, in doing so, qualified for the state tournament. Kevin Stevenson had a big day with 19 kills and led the Raiders with two blocks.

Kevin Stevenson tallied 22 kills to lead Central Catholic to a 2-1 victory over North Andover. John Day added 17 service points and 17 digs and Jack Roderick chipped in with 36 assists for the winners.

Kevin Stevenson had 12 kills and two blocks to help Central Catholic earn a 3-0 win over Lowell. The Raiders improved to 7-1 behind 30 assists from Jack Roderick and 25 digs from Alex Nadeau, as well.

Central Catholic's volleyball team continued its fast start to the season with a 3-1 win over Chelmsford. Kevin Stevenson had 10 kills and 12 service points for the Raiders (5-1).

Alex Nadeau scored 18 service points and Kevin Stevenson had eight kills as Central Catholic beat Andover 25-13, 25-23, 25-13. Alex Durham led the Golden Warriors with 18 kills.
