Senior Sophie Merry-Carreiro finished her career with a gritty 14-point performance through injury, but it wasn't enough as No. 13 Sanborn fell to high-powered Bishop Brady, the No. 4 seed, 84-52 in the first round of the Division 2 tournament.

Grace Merry-Carreiro knocked down four 3-pointers on her way to a team-high 16 points and Sanborn topped Coe-Brown 42-33.

Sophomre Maddy Houghton scored a career high 23 points and Grace Merry-Carreiro, another sophomore, added 10 as Sanborn blitzed Oyster River, 52-28. Oyster River has a better record (8-7 to 8-9) and beat Sanborn in the season opener, 49-48.

Behind 20 points from Sophia Merry-Carreiro, Sanborn rallied from an eight-point fourth-quarter deficit to edge Plymouth 56-55. Madison Houghton added 14 for the winners.

Olivia Gagnon dropped in 22 points to lead Pelham to a 53-35 win over Sanborn. That brought the senior's career total to 939 points with three games remaining in the regular season.

Sophomore Ellen McGough had six 3-pointers and 24 points to pace Sanborn to a 51-35 win over Milford.

Ellie Morris scored a season-high 8 points to help Sanborn take down Pembroke, 51-31. Madison Houghton led the Indians with 14 points, and both Grace Merry-Carreiro and Ellen McGough added 9.
