No. 10 Sanborn softball was two outs away from a trip to the Division 2 quarterfinals, but Taylor Coyle cranked a 3-run home run in the bottom of the seventh to give No. 7 Goffstown a 3-1 walk-off win. Nicole Pitts drove in the only run of the day on a sac fly for the Indians, who finish their season 9-8.

Sanborn's offense, stagnant for much of the year, erupted for 10 runs and a season-high 20 hits in a 10-5 win over a strong Coe-Brown team. Paige DesRosiers was 5 for 5 and Ally Gannon hit two home runs and drove in three to lead the way for the Indians (9-7). Also, Maggie Rasmussen was 3 for 5 with three RBIs.

Sophomore pitcher of the future Brooke DesRoche got the start for Sanborn and delivered in an 11-3 victory over ConVal. Maggie Rasmussen led the offense with three hits and three RBIs and relief pitcher Grace DuBois had a home run.

Sanborn moved back to .500 (6-6) by crushing Lebanon 17-0 in five innings. Brooke DesRoche hit her second home run in two games, a pinch-hit three-run blast while Briana Talarico was 3 for 3 and scored three runs and Kaleigh Thomas was 2 for 3 with three runs scored and three RBIs.

Sanborn, which had lost three out of its last four and hadn't scored more than two runs, rebounded with a 10-5 win over Oyster River. Nicole Pitts had her best game of the season with two doubles, three hits and five RBIs and Ally Gannon had a pinch-hit two-run homer.

Nicole Tebo threw eight no-hit innings, and Maggie Rasmussen broke the tie with a two-run double in the ninth inning to give Sanborn a 3-1 extra innings victory over Merrimack Valley. Tebo ended up with 18 strikeouts, and allowed just two hits.

Sanborn senior Nicole Tebo struck out 16 and allowed just four hits but the Indians only managed one hit of their own in a 2-0 loss to John Stark in 10 innings.

Paige DesRosiers was 5 for 6 with three RBIs and Nicole Castelano was 3 for 4 with four RBIs as Sanborn blasted Kingswood 20-7. Grace DuBois got the win in her first pitching performance of the year and was also 3 for 4 with three RBIs.

Nicole Pitts stole home in the sixth inning for the winning run and Nicole Tebo struck out 11 on a two-hitter as Sanborn beat Kennett 2-1. 

Abby Brennan hit a three-run homer to highlight a 10-run fourth inning as Sanborn crushed Merrimack Valley 13-1.
