The Pentucket girls broke the school record of 9,725 with a score of 9,774 in the North Sectional heptathlon. Saige Tudisco placed third with a 3,483, Ellison Seymour placed seventh with a 3,282 and Sterling Seymour placed 16th with a 3,009.

Central's Sarah Freeman took fourth in the mile and ran the lead leg in the Raider 4x800 relay team that took sixth overall, yesterday in the Division 2 Eastern Mass. track championships. 
Kate Hasentstab had soared over the bar at 9-feet to claim the Division 2 girls pole vault victory earlier in the week.
For North Andover, Trinity Tapper was fourth in the 100 at 12.97.

HAVERHILL — North Andover freshman Trinity Tapper made the mistake of asking the question before the finals began.

“I was thinking the other girls were around my age,” she said. “Then I asked and they were all junior and seniors. It was kind of nerve-wracking to think about how much older than me they were.”
