The Gloucester girls lacrosse team picked up its first win of the season in the most dramatic fashion possible: Six minutes into overtime, junior center midfielder Jennavie Orrell scored her seventh goal of the game to clinch an 18-17 win over Danvers and send her teammates into delirium.

Ashley Sullivan had a hat trick to help the Falcons close a deep hole to within two goals late, but Peabody turned the heat back up to pull away. Linda Vitale, Brittany LeFave and Emily Broughton all notched two tallies to key Peabody.
