Early in the season Pentucket field hockey coach Ruth Beaton moved Alyssa Bartula from defense to attack. Wise move. The junior first-year varstiy player had all three goals yesterday in a 3-0 win over Georgetown.

After seeing a three-goal lead slip away, Maggie Noelk scored with 57 left in the game to give Georgetown its first win of the season, a 4-3 victory over North Reading. Kasey Lerner assisted on the goal.
