Elyse Law was the hero for Sanborn in a Division 2 tournament-opening 4-3 win over Merrimack Valley. Not only was she 2 for 3 with two runs scored and an RBI but she ended the game with a great catch in center field in which she threw to Meg Dolan at third base for a double play.

Freshman Maddie McLellan, making her first varsity start, threw a three-hitter, striking out five without issuing a walk, as Sanborn whipped John Stark 8-2. Freshman Erin Thompson remained hot for the Indians (11-5) with three hits and a pair of RBIs.

Freshman Erin Thompson was 5 for 5, including a double and triple, and played outstanding defense as Sanborn had 18 hits in an 11-6 victory over St. Thomas.

Pelham senior Hannah Paitchel had three hits, including a key two-run single, and was flawles sin the field as Pelham won a big 4-3 victory over Sanborn. Jordan Parece got the win, allowing just five hits.

Elyse Law had an RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to lift Sanborn to an 8-7 comeback win over Portsmouth. Meg Dolan nad three hits and two RBIs for the Indians and Emily Mailloux had two hits and scored the winning run.

 Sanborn had three triples in the six-run sixth inning and four overall in a 9-3 win over Pelham. P.J. Ross had two triples ane Elyse Law and Caitlin Catalanotto had one apiece. Catalanotto threw a two-hitter for the win, striking out six, and retired 12 of the last 13 batters.

Rachel Colbert allowed just two hits while striking out six and was 3 for 3 at the plate as Sanborn clipped Oyster River 9-1.

Leadoff batter Elyse Law had three hits, scored twice and drove in two as Sanborn remained unbeaten (4-0) with a 7-2 victory over Windham.

Megan Dolan had doubles in the first and sixth innings and drove in four runs as Sanborn scored five runs in the first and six in the sixth in a 14-4 victory over Plymouth.

Freshman Caitlin Catalanotto spanked a two-run single in the bottom of the sixth inning to give Sanborn a six-run lead. Surprisingly, the hit was a game-winner as Hollis-Brookline scored five times in the seventh before the Indians escaped with an 8-7 victory. Another freshman, Ellery Rasmussen, had a triple as part of a five-run third inning for the victors.
