Astros shutout Manchester Central

Manny Latimore scored four touchdowns and hit the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the season, powering Pinkerton to their seventh straight win.

Latimore scored on rushes of 12, 1 and 76 and also hauled in an 81-yard pass from Sean Conroy. Brett Sturart, who returned an interception 21 yards, and Jacob Burton, who ran 50 yards on his only carry, added the other two touchdowns for the Astros.

Manchester Central, Londonderry

MANCHESTER — Londonderry scored first but Manchester Central regrouped and took control, scoring 24 fourth quarter points en route to a 36-7 romp.

It was a defensive struggle early with  the Lancers getting on the board first on a Jonathan Young 4-yard run with 2:45 left in the half. The hosts, however, answered with Hector Velez crashing in from the 3 with 23 seconds left in the half.
