Presentation of Mary junior Sydney Moran, despite taking a wrong turn that cost her 30 seconds and two places, charged back to capture first place for the fifth time this year in a tri-meet split with Shawsheen and Lynn Tech.

Wildcat revenge

Whittier's girls cross country team made amends for an earlier loss to Presentation of Mary by defeating the Panthers 20-41. Sydney Moran was first overall for PMA in 21:01 on the rain-soaked 5K course but Whittier had the superior depth led by Corinne Bilodeau in fourth and Kaitlin Wright in fifth.

Split decision

Ii was a strange tri-meet between PMA, Greater Lawrence and Whittier with everybody going 1-1. Sydney Moran took second overall and Heather Lacourse had a nice finishing kick to take sixth for PMA. The Reggies' Carmen Rivera won the race.
