Danielle Lebrecque had a goal and an assist and Shanan Hibbins had the other goal for Whittier in a 2-0 win over Chelsea, in the season-opener for both teams. Kelsey Locke made six saves to secure the win and freshman Brynn Gaiser had a strong game at the midfield position.
